This oversized custom mirrored stainless steel lion sculpture is made from environmentally friendly 304 stainless steel sheet. It embodies its sustainable nature and injects an eco-friendly element into the urban environment.
First, our designers create a 3D computer drawing of the lion statue, then produce the large expanded polystyrene lion statue.
A CNC laser cutter helps us cut the stainless steel sheets into the desired shape, while a router creates a fine groove on the back of the sheet, allowing the bending machine to fold it into the desired angle and shape.
Then, we assemble all the pre-shaped stainless steel sheets onto the expanded polystyrene lion sculpture to create a complete stainless steel lion, marking their respective positions. Next, we begin the welding process.
After the lion is fully welded, we polish the rough welds smooth and then apply a custom PVD mirror finish. If the client requires anti-fingerprint finish, we’ll also apply a layer of mirror oil to prevent fingerprints from being left behind and detracting from the beauty of the stainless steel sculpture.
